I am very pleased and honored to announce that The Glass Table and Shards have won silver medals at the 2010 Mom's Choice Awards. The Mom's Choice Awards® is known for establishing the benchmark of excellence in family-friendly media, products and services. The awards program recognizes authors, inventors, companies, parents and others for their efforts in creating quality family-friendly media products and services. The evaluation process uses a propriety methodology in which entries are scored on a number of elements including design, educational value, entertainment value, originality and appeal. Judges are especially interested in products that help families grow emotionally, physically and spiritually; are morally sound and promote good will; are inspirational and uplifting. The judging panel includes: Bettie B. Youngs, Ph.D., Ed.D., pulitzer Prize nominated author of 34 books and director of Professional Development, Inc. Dr. Twila C. Liggett, ten-time Emmy-winner, professor and founder of PBS's Reading Rainbow. Jodee Blanco, New York Times best-selling author.
Dr. Letitia S. Wright, DC, author, movie producer and host of theWright Place TV Show Dr. Wright is ranked in the top 50 Most Influential Women in Social Media.
